Juan Millás made a photographic report for El País Semanal on the Valley of Aran, the setting for Inés and Happiness, the new novel by author Almudena Grandes. The most important armed incident after the Spanish Civil War took place there in October 1944: the invasion of 4,000 resistance fighters who sought to liberate Spain from Franco.
This report was published in issue no. 1768 on Sunday, 15 August 2010.

Matías Costa’s Cargo series has been nominated one of the five best works in the Photography category of the ninth New Journalism CEMEX+FNPI Award granted by the New Ibero-American Journalism Journalism Foundation (FNPI), headed by author Gabriel García Márquez.
Registrations were received from 1,370 journalists from all Latin American countries, and there were 470 entries in the Photography category.
The winner will be announced at the award ceremony to be held 21 September 2010 in Monterrey, Mexico.
